These monthly sessions are designed to help you get the most from your Bernina! These classes will cover use of specialty feet and help demystify techniques that you never thought possible with your machine.
 
In this session we will be working on the Sashiko Look Machine Stitched Placemat. Use the ‘hand stitched’, stitch function on your machine together with careful thread use to create a beautiful placement using a traditional sashiko stitch pattern. Skills covered;
Edge stitching
Hand look stitch function
Mastering tricky threads such as monofilament
Self mitred hem
 
Please note that you don't have to have purchased your Bernina from Cutting Cloth to participate in these classes. 
 
These sessions are designed for the new touch screen 4 Series Machines and above.
 
You will need to purchase a kit to participate in the class. The fee for the class kit is not included in the class fee. In situations where you don't own a foot being used in a class, one will be provided for use in the class - you are not obliged to purchase this foot.
